The S/VP of Corporate Marketing oversees global corporate communications including public media and analyst relations, exec comms and thought leadership, internal/employee comms and crisis comms -- all to help Navan achieve its business objectives.

This person will set an inspiring vision for corporate marketing to achieve company and marketing objectives. The SVP of Corporate Marketing is a seasoned and trusted strategist and thought leader advising executives and other internal clients on the strategies and tactics to advance Navan's messaging in the marketplace, inspiring employees, customers, partners, media, analysts and investors to desired action.

What You'll Do:

  • Direct corporate communications, including public, media and analyst relations; executive communications and thought leadership; reputation management and crisis communications, to advance Navan’s position as a disruptor and leader in business travel and expense
  • Communicate a unified brand story across multiple sub-brands, and ensure a consistent, best-in-class experience across all internal and external audiences. Create a robust brand across business and consumer audiences
  • Create strong product marketing engine for inbound and outbound product messaging, enablement, and feedback loops
  • Develop and maintain a compelling narrative, corporate positioning and messaging architecture, guidelines, and employer marketing to position Navan’s as a disruptor and leader in business travel and expense management
  • Work closely with Marketing leaders and business owners to conceptualize, message and implement corporate marketing campaigns, content and events on time and within budget
  • Partner with CEOs to tell the Navan story internally, externally and drive high employee engagement, candidate pull, investor confidence, and messaging clarity with customers, suppliers, and users.
  • Oversee and engage in public and media relations program execution, managing internal and external resources to timeline, budget and results
  • Build robust systems for prioritization/execution against vision/roadmap, including corporate marketing project intake, prioritization, scheduling and reporting process to ensure receipt, tracking and successful execution against all project requests
  • Oversee social marketing to drive community and advocacy among Navan’s customers, prospects, partners and influencers

What We're Looking For:

  • Executive Corporate Marketing leader with a minimum of 15 years experience in marketing and communications. Experience working both B2B and consumer businesses a plus.
  • Demonstrated competence at scaling businesses in fast-growing B2B motion at 500M+ revenue stage in a market moving from early to mainstream market maturity–track record of category creation and dominance.
  • Inspiring storyteller with experience shaping brand, messaging, and content.
  • Systems thinker who can create scalable programs and operating model.
  • Analytical/data driven operator obsessed with efficiency and creating measurable impact to business and revenue.
  • Strong leader who can hire and engage strong director and VP level leaders.
  • First principles thinker who will think outside the box to identify objectives and design/implement appropriate solutions.
  • Strong cross-functional collaborator and leader across business units, segments, regions.
  • No ego–will roll up sleeves to work tightly with their team, not simply lead it.
  • Ability to work within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

The posted pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the compensation for this position and is subject to change based on business need. To determine a successful candidate’s starting pay, we carefully consider a variety of factors, including primary work location, an evaluation of the candidate’s skills and experience, market demands, and internal parity.

For roles with on-target-earnings (OTE), the pay range includes both base salary and target incentive compensation. Target incentive compensation for some roles may include a ramping draw period. Compensation is higher for those who exceed targets. Candidates may receive more information from the recruiter.
