We are seeking a Global Onboarding Success Specialist to lead and evolve our global new hire onboarding program. In this critical role, you will serve as the program lead and center of excellence, coordinating across seven cross-functional teams and partnering closely with hiring managers to ensure a consistent, high-impact onboarding experience worldwide.

The ideal candidate will drive the development and execution of scalable processes that foster connection, accelerate productivity, and reinforce Navan’s values and culture from day one. With strong program management and facilitation skills, you'll play a key role in delivering a seamless and engaging journey for every new hire—helping them feel informed, supported, and excited to contribute from the start.

What You’ll Do

  • Act as primary point of contact for global onboarding while fostering a welcoming environment that reflects Navan’s culture and working principals
  • Assist in designing and developing comprehensive onboarding materials, resources and trainings to support new hire integration, including hiring manager enablement for tailored check lists, structured buddy program, effective communication and expectation setting strategies to facilitate smooth integration of new hires
  • Set and manage the global onboarding calendar in partnership with sales enablement and people operations this will include: coordinating and facilitating onboarding sessions, both live and virtual, across multiple time zones
  • Continuously evaluate and improve onboarding processes starting at employment offer signed pre-boarding through week 1, tracking progress and reporting New Hire Experience survey results using data to drive enhancements
  • Establish feedback mechanisms to gather insights from hiring managers and cross functional teams to continuously improve employee onboarding experience
  • Collaborate with global IT, people operations, talent, security, workplace and hiring managers to streamline onboarding practices and deliver exceptional employee experiences
  • Manage and support the Onboarding Operations ticketing system by addressing and resolving issues promptly and managing any new hire exceptions
  • Operate with a One Team mindset by providing flexible support as part of the Global Talent Operations team

What We’re Looking For

  • 3-5 years of experience supporting new hire onboarding programs in an operational capacity
  • Proven experience in program and project management within a global context
  • Experience in facilitation, presentation, and content creation for learning and development purposes
  • Background in People Operations and/or Recruiting Operations.
  • Familiarity with systems and tools that can further automate and personalize onboarding (i.e. Workday, AI technologies, etc)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for building strong relationships with new hires and internal stakeholders
  • Proven organizational and time-management abilities to juggle multiple onboarding tasks
  • High attention to detail ensuring operational accuracy and compliance
  • Strong problem-solving skills to proactively address onboarding challenges
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze onboarding metrics and communicate key insights
  • Adaptability to shifting priorities and workflows
  • A positive, customer-service oriented attitude that enhances the onboarding experience

The posted pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the compensation for this position and is subject to change based on business need. To determine a successful candidate’s starting pay, we carefully consider a variety of factors, including primary work location, an evaluation of the candidate’s skills and experience, market demands, and internal parity.

For roles with on-target-earnings (OTE), the pay range includes both base salary and target incentive compensation. Target incentive compensation for some roles may include a ramping draw period. Compensation is higher for those who exceed targets. Candidates may receive more information from the recruiter.
