We’re seeking a strategic, data-driven SEO Content Writer with a strong background in SEO and proven experience creating content that ranks, converts, and builds authority, to elevate Navan’s story through search-optimized, persuasive content.

This role requires a creator with a strong SEO understanding, a flair for storytelling, and ideally, experience in the travel or finance industries (B2B SaaS experience is a plus). You’ll craft a variety of content that ranks, engages, and ultimately drives conversion.

What You’ll Do:

  • Write and optimize content that aligns with Navan’s SEO strategy, including blog posts, landing pages, guides, and more.
  • Conduct keyword research and apply on-page SEO best practices (meta tags, headings, internal linking).
  • Translate complex topics in Company travel management, AI booking, Frequent travel and expense management into engaging, accessible, and SEO-friendly content.
  • Collaborate with SEO Lead to build topic clusters, pillar content, and editorial calendars.
  • Analyze content performance (traffic, rankings, CTR, engagement) and iterate based on SEO and business goals.
  • Ensure content aligns with Navan’s brand voice while targeting decision-makers like CFOs, travel managers, and executive assistants.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with SEO, product marketing, and content team to deliver assets tied to business objectives.
  • Proactively stay ahead of SEO trends, Google algorithm updates, and shifts in AI-driven search landscapes.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of SEO content writing experience with proven impact on organic traffic and search rankings.

  • Hands on familiarity with SEO tools and techniques (keyword research, on-page optimization, content audits).

  • Exceptional writing and editing skills with a bias toward clarity, engagement and conversion

  • Demonstrated experience in one or more of the following domains:

    • Travel (corporate, B2B SaaS, managed travel platforms)

    • Finance/Fintech (expense management, payments, business finance)

  • Strong analytical mindset: ability to turn performance data into actionable editorial decisions.

  • Excellent communication, project ownership, and collaboration capabilities.

  • Native English

Nice to Have

  • Understanding of AI-influenced search (e.g., Google’s AI features, ChatGPT, SERP features) and how content can be tailored for them.

  • Background in conversion-focused copywriting for SaaS audiences.
