About Us:

Notion helps you build beautiful tools for your life’s work. In today's world of endless apps and tabs, Notion provides one place for teams to get everything done, seamlessly connecting docs, notes, projects, calendar, and email—with AI built in to find answers and automate work. Millions of users, from individuals to large organizations like Toyota, Figma, and OpenAI, love Notion for its flexibility and choose it because it helps them save time and money.

In-person collaboration is essential to Notion's culture. We require all team members to work from our offices on Mondays and Thursdays, our designated Anchor Days. Certain teams or positions may require additional in-office workdays.

About The Role:

At Notion, we're crafting tools that transform how people work together, no matter where they are in the world. As our Global Mobility Manager, you'll help us build bridges across borders—managing immigration processes and creating delightful relocation experiences. This is your chance to design and own a strategic program that directly shapes our global growth story and helps teammates feel supported through complex transitions. You'll craft thoughtful policies while staying hands-on with execution, harness AI and automation to simplify complex processes, and collaborate with teams across Notion to navigate immigration requirements and mobility challenges. If you're energized by fast-moving environments, love building elegant systems from scratch, and want to make meaningful impact at a company reshaping how the world works, we'd love to connect

What You'll Achieve:

  • Own end-to-end immigration and relocation across hiring, transfers, rotations, and assignments, with clear policies and playbooks

  • Build deep, effective partnerships with People, Talent Acquisition, Legal, Finance, Accounting, and Tax teams to create and manage Notion’s global mobility programs and to ship complex immigration and relocation cases quickly and compliantly

  • Be a mobility thought partner and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve our internal mobility strategy

  • Shorten time-to-visa and time-to-move through streamlined intake, approvals, SLAs, and vendor management

  • Benchmark our current policies against internal feedback and external market standards, assess potential opportunities for improvement and build dashboards that illuminate volume, cycle time, cost per move, tax exposure, and compliance posture

  • Guide candidates, employees, and managers with clear, empathetic communication and self-serve resources

  • Leverage technology to streamline mobility workflows, eliminating manual processes through system integration and automation of routine tasks

Skills You'll Need to Bring:

  • 6–8+ years in global mobility, immigration, or international HR, operating across multiple regions

  • Developed and scaled a global mobility strategy to support cross-border talent

  • Proven program ownership: policy design, vendor selection, and measurable outcomes in fast-paced environments

  • Strong working knowledge of mobility tax topics, shadow payroll, equity implications, and permanent establishment risk

  • Systems mindset and comfort leveraging AI and automation to remove manual work safely

  • Excellent judgment, discretion, and concise written communication that helps partners move fast

We hire talented and passionate people from a variety of backgrounds because we want our global employee base to represent the wide diversity of our customers. If you’re excited about a role but your past experience doesn’t align perfectly with every bullet point listed in the job description, we still encourage you to apply. If you’re a builder at heart, share our company values, and enthusiastic about making software toolmaking ubiquitous, we want to hear from you.
