The Challenge

Due to rapid growth and an increased demand for our platform, OneTrust is seeking a Technical Implementation Consultant. The Technical Implementation Consultant role is one of the key pieces of the OneTrust architecture. After the sales process, consultants are the key contact in driving and building the relationship, implementing the solution, and managing the expectations of the customer. Technical Implementation consultants work across the technical modules. As a Technical Implementation Consultant, you will be responsible for the customer relationship and will work directly with our customers to . The role is one of the most important as it is the bridge between OneTrust and the customer, helping the business grow by identifying product enhancements and relaying them between the customer and OneTrust Product teams.

This team combines a fine-tuned project management discipline alongside superb technical acumen sprinkled with stunning design chops. Not only that, but we build on top of 2 world-class, customer-friendly CMS and LMS platforms. Furthermore, we operate like a boutique agency inside the OneTrust Ethics Professional Services Team.

Your Mission

As a Technical Implementation Consultant, you will:

  • Oversee the technical implementation and platform adoption for customer projects from start to finish.
  • Provide creative insight and execution for customers while implementing web-based portals and pages based on customer assets and brand guidelines on our CMS tool.
  • Provide creative insight and execution for customers while implementing branding and creating custom courses with customer assets and brand guidelines on our learning authoring tool.
  • Use your experience across a broad range of front-end technologies including HTML and CSS.
  • Use your design experience using wireframing tools like Figma and storyboarding in tools like Fig-jam.
  • Use or deepen your experience with the Adobe suite of products to create assets to use in creative projects.
  • Use or deepen your knowledge of Instructional Design.
  • Use or deepen your experience with web accessibility standards (ADA &WCAG).
  • Work closely with UI/UX design, marketing, product management and engineering on project goals and requirements.
  • Prioritize and drive resolution on escalated customer issues.
  • Complete internal and project documentation.
  • Seek opportunities in day-to-day workflow to improve quality and efficiency from ideation to deployment.
  • Document processes and workflows in shareable documents for future use and adoption.
  • Document project progress in our CRM tool (Salesforce)
  • Be an advocate for our customers by representing their issues to Product Management and Software Engineering with a focus on steering the OneTrust roadmap.
  • Monitor and analyse the customer’s adoption of our solution features and functionality to provide leadership with an understanding of their overall business needs as they relate to our products.
  • Provide strategic and tactical support for Sales, Professional Services, and Business Development

You will also act as system and regulatory best practice expert, drawing from a plethora of consulting experience to advise customers on optimization of privacy & ethics program(s). Act as the customer advocate. Seamlessly transition ownership and action plan back to involved teams. Show ownership of issues, engage customers, establish urgent priorities, and implement resolution plan. Able to resolve simple to moderate issues with minimal management intervention. Ability to interpret and deliver on custom SOW customer projects.

Your experience includes:

  • BA/BS OR MS in Computer Science, Web Design/Development [Bootcamp friendly], Engineering Management or Information Technology/Systems
  • 2 – 5 years of relevant experience in software development, professional services, solution engineering, design, technical consulting; with expertise in architecting, supporting and/or rolling out new technology and solution initiatives.
  • Experience working with front-end technologies and design frameworks.
  • Effective customer-facing relationship building skills. Proven success in and genuine enthusiasm for working directly with customer(s).
  • Proven ability to engage across corporate functions (Professional Services, Support and Product Management).
  • Previous end-to-end implementation experience, ideally on a SAAS platform/product or creative agency.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to chair meetings or host trainings.
  • An understanding of the following tech/tools: HTML, CSS, Figma (or any wireframing tool), Acquia (or any CMS), Gomo (or any learning authoring tool), Salesforce, Jira – a plus, SSO, Domain Management.
  • Ability to build relationships across stakeholders in marketing, product, sales, and engineering.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft suite of products.

Extra Awesome

  • Knowledge of HTTP, SSO, SCORM packages, domain management.
  • Knowledge of Learning Management Systems.
  • Functional experience in the field (Privacy, Ethics or GRC)
  • Industry Certifications (CIPP/E, CIPM, GRCP, CPA, CISA, LPEC, etc.)
  • Experience dealing with senior management (C-Level) across multiple customers.
  • Language skills (German, French, Spanish, or Italian)
