Technical Writer - Associate
Panther Labs
The Role
As an Associate Technical Writer at Panther Labs, you will enable customer success by creating and improving public technical documentation to help users make the most of Panther’s features and functionality.
Success in this collaborative role will require working directly with stakeholders across Support, Product, and Engineering to create best-in-class technical documentation and manage the collaborative processes required to develop new and updated content to support a rapidly evolving product.
The ideal candidate for this position will be equally comfortable testing and documenting features from the Panther Console web app and developer workflows, including the Panther API, command line tools, and code snippets in Python/SQL/YAML.
This is a role in Panther’s Support organization, and we’re seeking highly motivated and organized candidates who are looking for a chance to take on more responsibility over time within a hyper-growth company environment. You will work closely with our existing Senior Technical Writer to help cover our ever-expanding documentation, knowledge, and customer communication needs.

The company was founded by security practitioners that lived through the difficulty of trying to protect large organizations and wanting to build a solution that many teams could use. Panther solves modern security problems with detection-as-code, a cloud-native architecture, and robust security data lake. Panther’s platform, used by many industry innovators, enables security teams to focus on security, detect attacks, and protect their organizations without prohibitive overhead or excessive operational costs.
