About the role

We're looking for a Pricing Analyst to join our Pricing Team at Pleo. In this role, you'll help translate complex pricing strategy, product changes, and commercial experiments into clear, actionable data insights and be part of driving the success and evolution of the Pleo product's monetisation as we scale our global subscription - base offering. What you'll be doing

As a Pricing Analyst, you will:

  • Consult with the Pricing team and senior management, providing compelling insights on the impact of pricing changes, initiatives, and key discount variables (promotions, retention efforts) on both commercial and product KPIs
  • Design, implement, monitor, and report on experiments (pilots) for new pricing initiatives, ensuring we have clear, measurable success criteria
  • Build the single source of truth: design and maintain robust analytics data models and tables in BI tools (like Looker) to act as the primary source for all pricing operational KPIs and analysis
  • Automate and visualise: create insightful dashboards and other visualisations to automate visibility of key pricing KPIs and support daily/ad-hoc decision- making
  • Strategise: provide the core analysis required to support the design and implementation of new pricing architecture and bundling strategies
  • Ensure Data Integrity: Act as a guardrail, ensuring all data handling, storage, and transfer is secure and compliant with Pleo's data storage policy

What you bring

You'll thrive in this role if you have:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an analytical role, ideally within pricing for a subscription based business (SaaS)
  • Expert level excel / Google Sheets skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, etc.) coupled with advanced SQL and R experience. (No need to fear the dreaded JOIN, you've mastered it.)
  • Experienced in designing and building comprehensive Looker, Tableau, or Power BI dashboards to effectively track and communicate pricing success
  • A recognised ability to act as an effective analytics consultant, proactively identifying data sources and requirements to solve complex business problems
  • Skilled at creating clear, compelling presentation that translate complex pricing strategies and analyses into simple, actionable narratives for senior stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem solving abilities, with a practical and effective mindset that moves beyond just reporting numbers

Who you'll be working with and reporting to

You'll act as the analytics consultant for the entire Pricing team, and your key internal stakeholders will include Pleo's C-level and other senior leaders who rely on your insights for decision- making. You'll work closely with team members within the Pricing group and report to a Senior Manager or Director within the Data & Analytics Group. Our team is highly collaborative and dedicated to embedding a truly data- inspired culture within the business. You'll also partner with the wider Data & Analytics group to ensure knowledge - sharing and continuous improvement of our data ecosystem

How you'll develop in this role

In your first 6 months at Pleo, you'll

  • Lead the design and successful rollout of the single source of truth for pricing operations KPIs in our BI tool, immediately driving impact by providing automated, trusted visibility
  • Collaborate with the Pricing Manager to design and monitor a key pricing initiative pilot, reporting directly to senior management on its commercial impact
  • Grow your skills in predictive analytics and forecasting modelling by contributing to the continuous improvement of our commercial business intelligence, taking on new challenges as the company continues to scale
