Why this role?

  • Not your typical SDR or growth function: This founding role as a FlexDR/Growth is for someone with a multi-disciplinary background looking to get their hands dirty in the weeds of GTM execution. Experiment in new growth channels, build community, and find unique ways to get in touch with our target customer.

  • Be an integral part of the growth engine: As the founding FlexDR/Growth hire you’ll be responsible for experiments that drive growth for the company as we go from product-market fit to go-to-market fit.

  • Flex your creative and analytics skills: This role is uniquely positioned to get equal exposure to data (build prospecting lists with data, run analysis to optimize funnel) and creativity (create community programs, social campaigns, events).

What you’ll do

North star - Own experiments that drive pipeline

Build the outbound engine

  • Using the Pocus product and other tools to build the outbound engine

  • Build and test messaging for various segments of the market

  • Document all results and learnings

Grow community across platforms

  • Grow and evolve the Slack community to fuel inbound pipeline for new business

  • Create programs that nurture product champions to support expansion and renewal goals

  • Grow founder and Pocus’ following on social platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter) and experiment with new channels for growth (TikTok) through creative social campaigns and influencer relationships

Host events

  • Assist in the planning and execution of events that drive awareness and generate pipeline

  • Assist in hosting online and offline community events

  • Host intimate events in person dinners that drive TOF pipeline for sales

What you bring

  • Relevant experience: You have 1-3 years experience in startups, VC or consulting (prior experience in Sales Development is a plus, but not required)

  • Scrappy: You are comfortable with ambiguity and enjoy experimenting with new ideas. You have a bias towards action. You move quickly, but intentionally.

  • Clear communicator: You have exceptional written and verbal communication skills and comfort/experience communicating with corporate-level executives (VP, C-Level)

  • Analytical: You have experience in analyzing data to recognize patterns and pull out insights that help drive decisions.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset: You think and act like a founder / owner.

  • Intellectual curiosity: You are proactive to identify new opportunities for Pocus and can pick up new projects with limited direction. You are hungry to learn.

  • Low ego: No project is too big or too small. You are excited to jump deep into the weeds when needed, and will do anything it takes to get the job done.
