Pocus has hundreds of always-on AI agents doing the manual, tedious work of researching & prospecting so that reps can do what they do best: sell. With Pocus AI agents working for them, rep’s days are simplified. Reps get alerts when compelling events happen, account plans are generated by AI, and agents recommend who to reach out to with the next best action. Why this role

  • Sell a product that go-to-market teams need and love: Sales, SDR, CS, and AM teams rely on Pocus to uncover new revenue opportunities and save hours / week digging through data. We're on track to generate half a billion dollars in pipeline for customers this quarter - they have referred to Pocus as an “answer to all of their prayers”.

  • Be an early member of the Sales team: As one of the first members of team, you’ll build the foundation of Sales for years to come.

  • Dive into a huge opportunity: We’re disrupting a massive category (AI Prospecting) that has been stagnant for years with an offering that is AI native and built for a new era of selling

  • Learn more in 1 week at Pocus than 1 year at another company: We do more with less — we’re able to ship what other teams with 10x of the resources do in 1/10th of the time. We’ve had a lot of awesome accomplishments, but still have so much left to do.

What you’ll do

  • Do sales:

    • Build meaningful relationships with customer facing teams at mid-market through large enterprise-sized companies

    • Develop warm outbound strategies to identify and create opportunities across our target accounts

    • Own the full sales cycle from lead to close including prospecting, discovery, demonstrations, proofs of concept, negotiation, and closing

    • Become a Pocus and AIxGTM expert - and leverage that knowledge to help and advise prospects

  • Build sales

    • Improve our sales process and playbooks

    • Build sales collateral from scratch to support the sales process

    • Be the voice of the prospect: Collaborate with product to inform roadmap decisions, marketing to inform positioning and messaging, and help post-sales to create a smooth handoff and consistent customer journey

As an ideal candidate, you have:

  • 4+ years of experience in a new business quota carrying role

  • Proven capability to own and exceed $1M+ in quota while closing deals north of six-figures

  • Enterprise selling experience - specifically selling through internal champions, aligning to executive level initiatives, and multi-threading across functions and levels to drive alignment and overcome blockers

  • Expertise and excitement for outbound prospecting - you love the process of thoughtfully breaking into accounts - be it through email, events, cold calls, or other creative channels - and don’t expect to rely 100% on inbound

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication and attention to detail in all forms (docs, emails, Slack messages, Powerpoint presentations) and at all levels (from AE to CRO)

  • Excitement to build the foundations of sales at an early stage and rapidly growing startup

  • Nice to have:

    • You've built sales playbooks or processes

    • Experience selling to sales (AEs, SDRs, CSMs, AMs) and executives in that space (CRO, VP of Sales)

    • Passion for Pocus and the category of AI x Sales
