About Ramp

At Ramp, we’re rethinking how modern finance teams function in the age of AI. We believe AI isn’t just the next big wave. It’s the new foundation for how business gets done. We’re investing in that future — and in the people bold enough to build it.

Ramp is a financial operations platform designed to save companies time and money. Our all-in-one solution combines payments, corporate cards, vendor management, procurement, travel booking, and automated bookkeeping with built-in intelligence to maximize the impact of every dollar and hour spent. More than 50,000 businesses, from family-owned farms to e-commerce giants to space startups, have saved $10B and 27.5M hours with Ramp. Founded in 2019, Ramp powers the fastest-growing corporate card and bill payment platform in America, and enables over $100 billion in purchases each year.

Ramp’s investors include Lightspeed Venture Partners, Thrive Capital, Sands Capital, General Catalyst, Founders Fund, Khosla Ventures, Sequoia Capital, Greylock, and Redpoint, as well as over 100 angel investors who were founders or executives of leading companies. The Ramp team comprises talented leaders from leading financial services and fintech companies—Stripe, Affirm, Goldman Sachs, American Express, Mastercard, Visa, Capital One—as well as technology companies such as Meta, Uber, Netflix, Twitter, Dropbox, and Instacart.

Ramp has been named to Fast Company’s Most Innovative Companies list and LinkedIn’s Top U.S. Startups for more than 3 years, as well as the Forbes Cloud 100, CNBC Disruptor 50, and TIME Magazine’s 100 Most Influential Companies.

About the Role

Ramp is hiring a People Success Associate to help strengthen and scale our People Success function. Reporting to the People Success Lead, you’ll play a key role in supporting employees and managers, shaping how our people processes operate, driving system and workflow improvements, and keeping our programs running smoothly and effectively.

This role blends people support, project work, data analysis, and process building. You’ll work closely with the People Success Lead across multiple orgs outside of Sales and Engineering, taking on the coordination and systems work that keeps everything moving. You’ll be in the room for calibrations and core people discussions, gaining direct exposure to people partnership work. Over time, as you learn and grow, you’ll take on your own org relationships and work more independently.

Two important notes. We are moving fast to hire for this role:

  • To be considered in our first round of applications, you must be available for a Super Day of final round interviews on Tuesday, December 9, Wednesday, December 10, or Thursday, December 11, 2025.

  • This role is based out of our San Francisco office, located in the Financial District. We default to being together onsite at least three days a week, with flexibility for occasional remote work.

What You'll Do

  • Support the People Success Lead in working with leaders across G&A, Marketing, Risk, Customer Experience, and Sales Development, and begin building relationships with newer managers as you grow in the role

  • Serve as the first point of contact for employees and managers, answering Tier 1 questions about performance, policies, and day-to-day people issues, and escalating more complex situations when needed

  • Coordinate offboarding and help manage challenging interpersonal situations with care and professionalism

  • For the orgs you support, run the day-to-day operations of performance reviews, engagement surveys, and other people programs, and take ownership of building scalable systems by identifying process gaps, creating solutions, and rolling them out across the organization.

  • Build and maintain systems, documentation, and workflows that make People Success processes clear, scalable, and consistent

  • Pull, organize, and analyze people data to identify trends and provide insights that help the team make informed decisions

  • Own the rollout and follow-through of your work from start to finish — whether it’s a process update, a report, or a project — with attention to detail and a willingness to handle both routine and complex tasks

What You Need

  • 3+ years of experience in HR/People operations, broader operations, a client-facing role, or project management. Direct exposure to employee lifecycle processes is a plus, but not required.

  • Strong data skills — comfortable pulling reports, working with spreadsheets, and turning numbers into clear takeaways

  • Strong penchant for creating and improving scalable systems, processes, or documentation

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to handle sensitive conversations, including basic performance issues and offboarding

  • Clear written and verbal communication, especially when explaining policies or guiding managers through next steps

  • Comfort working in a fast-moving environment, staying organized, and managing multiple tasks at once

Benefits (for U.S.-based full-time employees)

  • 100% medical, dental & vision insurance coverage for you

    • Partially covered for your dependents

    • One Medical annual membership

  • 401k (including employer match on contributions made while employed by Ramp)

  • Flexible PTO

  • Fertility HRA (up to $5,000 per year)

  • WFH stipend to support your home office needs

  • Wellness stipend

  • Parental Leave

  • Relocation support to NYC or SF (as needed)

  • Pet insurance
