We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Director of Portals Product to lead the strategy, vision, and product management of our internal and external customer-facing portals and applications.
This role is responsible for delivering a seamless, engaging, and innovative experience that meets the needs of our customers while driving business growth.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of digital platforms, strong leadership skills; leading and inspiring a high performing product team. A history of driving strong design and product collaboration, a proven track record of bringing digital tools to life, a passion for creating exceptional user experiences.
Responsibilities:
- All client facing (external as well as internal) portals and apps
- Define and articulate a compelling product vision and roadmap for our customer portals, aligning with Rapyd's overall business strategy.
- Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation and discovery to launch and ongoing product improvement.
- Effectively communicate product vision, roadmap, and progress to key stakeholders, including senior leadership, sales, marketing, and engineering.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, design, and other cross-functional teams/stakeholders to ensure successful product delivery.
- Keep up-to-date with market, industry and regulatory trends, which will drive product decisions, define opportunities as well as threats.
- Prioritise customer satisfaction and build strong customer relationships. Actively seek and incorporate customer feedback into the product development process.
- Track key product metrics and analysis data to identify areas for improvement and measure product performance.
- Experience working effectively in multicultural teams, with clients, and in global environments.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in product management, with at least 5 years of experience leading and managing product & design teams.
- Proven track record of delivering a) best-in-class external facing portals and apps as well as b) internal facing back office portals
- Proven track record of successfully launching and scaling successful products in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
- Strong leadership and mentorship skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a high-performing team.
- Experience working in a global environment with exposure to diverse cultures and markets.
- Experience working with design teams and a keen eye for design themselves.
- Passion for fintech and a strong understanding of the payments industry.
