Spares Coordinator
We are seeking an experienced Spares Coordinator to work across our EHS, Facilities, Security and Maintenance organizations to provide support for a variety of mission critical projects and the timely availability and proper management of spare parts for our 24/7 MSC operation at the BMC2 campus in South Carolina. You will report directly to the MSC Operations Leader.
You will be expected to maintain the spare parts inventory to ensure that production and facility downtime is minimized to support production and cost targets. The Spares Coordinator will also manage and coordinate all local contractors who provide maintenance support to the facility.
This individual must be able to work across a wide range of teams and disciplines in a dynamic and scrappy start up environment. Strong leadership skills and the ability to drive actions across multiple stakeholders is a must.
Responsibilities will include:
- Receiving spares parts into spares inventory, confirming part matches what was purchased
- Utilize ERP, CMMS, and/or Inventory Management software to track, analyze, and manage inventory effectively.
- Locate and issue parts to maintenance technicians and engineers as needed
- Perform daily inventory audits as directed by the supervisor and correct any errors identified
- Work may be required on holidays depending on shift schedule
- Create, develop and maintain robust analytics systems for EHS, Facilities and Maintenance KPI’s as requested.
- Work cross functionally across BMC2 operations teams on a variety of projects to support team growth and our continuous improvement goals as needed.
Desired Qualifications:
- At least five years of experience supporting projects across Maintenance or Production organizations.
- Track record of achievement with a leading technology company, preferably with new process or program development.
- Background in Facilities or Maintenance a plus.
- Working knowledge of basic analytics, including KPI development and tracking, familiar working with a CMS or case tracking systems.
- Self-motivated, hands-on mindset, with a willingness to contribute at all levels.
- A passion for sustainability and making the world a better place!
The position is full-time. Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
