Material Flow Process Engineer
The Material Flow Process Engineer will support the various projects, operations, and sustainment of our processes within the Material Flow department. This role will lead a team of Process Technicians to troubleshoot and optimize our Material Flow sites. This role will work closely with Material Flow leaders in operations to set and meet operational goals.
Responsibilities Will Include:
- Participate in root cause analysis with cross-functional teams and often take the lead investigative role and implementing department/company wide solutions
- Identify potential safety hazards in the material flow process and work with cross-functional teams to find and implement solutions
- Daily analysis and report outs of Material Flow data using Oracle WMS, Excel, Tableau, or other Microsoft Office programs
- Lead a team of Process Technicians, managing their workload, timesheets, and professional development.
- Troubleshoot issues within Material Flow systems and layouts, and draft solutions
- Manage workload with a positive outlook and proactively help co-workers
- Improve Material Flow’s effectiveness and efficiency by analyzing data, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions
- Lead the Space Planning operations for all BMC1’s buildings and tenants
Desired Qualifications:
- Proficiency with Warehouse systems and MS suite (Project, Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Ability to work independently and to conduct assignments to completion within parameters of project constraints
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or similar
- 1-3 years of experience in Industrial Engineering, Logistics & Supply Chain, or Manufacturing, leadership experience a plus
- Strong analytical skills and ability to present data in a clear manner
- Ability to adapt to fluctuating priorities, staffing, and scope changes
- Experience with data analysis, work instruction creation, and time & motion studies

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to talk, listen, and speak clearly on the telephone
Working Conditions:
- Environment, such as office or outdoors
- Exposures encountered, such as loud noise, and extreme heat/cold
- Essential physical requirements, such as climbing, standing, stooping, or typing
- Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, some weeks will need to adjust schedule to match shift-based process rollouts.
- Some travel required between project sites
The position is full-time. Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
