About the Team:

The Infrastructure Design and Construction team is at the core of Relativity’s growth and development. Through our collaboration and expertise, we deliver projects that lay the foundation for Relativity’s future success. In essence, ‘we build the factory that builds the rockets! We are responsible for cross functional relationships with teams such as Manufacturing, Propulsion, PBF, Avionics, Machine Shop, Facilities, EHS and Security to name a few, working through design specifications and execution of critical infrastructure projects that supports the mission of work centers. Our relationships don’t stop there, working daily with government agencies, utility suppliers, vendors and contractors who support our factory build out. Our team ensures that all projects meet operational requirements, safety and environmental codes, all the while remaining within budget, delivering on time, and to the highest quality as we help to drive production forward.

About the Role:

  • Support the design and documentation of electrical infrastructure across production, test, and office environments, including power, lighting, and specialty systems
  • Develop technical drawings and calculations such as single-line diagrams, load studies, and panel schedules for permit and construction use
  • Conduct field walks and validate site conditions, ensuring designs are constructible and aligned with real-world constraints
  • Assist in project execution, including supporting power shutdowns, coordinating commissioning efforts, and troubleshooting live systems
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Facilities, IT, Manufacturing, and CAD teams to deliver safe, scalable, and reconfigurable power solutions
  • Apply codes and standards (e.g., NEC, NFPA 70E, Title 24) to ensure all electrical systems are compliant, safe, and properly documented

About You:

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline, with 2–5 years of industry experience in infrastructure, facilities, or capital projects
  • You’re comfortable working in both design and field environments, and you enjoy bridging the gap between drawings and real-world execution
  • You have a strong grasp of electrical fundamentals, and have applied standards like NEC, NFPA 70E, and Title 24 in your work
  • You’re proficient in creating and editing technical documents—single-line diagrams, load calculations, panel schedules, and more
  • You thrive in cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with construction managers, operations, and engineers
  • You’re detail-oriented, organized, and eager to learn from senior engineers while growing your ownership on high-impact projects

Nice to haves, but not required:

  • Professional Engineer License Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, or Bluebeam for drafting, markups, and coordination
  • Familiarity with commissioning processes, including development of Methods of Procedure (MOPs) and support during system cutovers
  • Understanding of electrical capacity planning, energy management, or coordination with utility providers

Hiring Range:
$117,000$150,000 USD
