About the role

The Legal team sits at the heart of Revolut and is a core part of the business. Members of the team provide front-line guidance and support to all areas of the company, contributing to decisions that impact Revolut’s growth every day.

We're looking for a Regulatory Legal Counsel — Mortgages, to sit within our growing Legal team in Ireland. This is an exciting time to join — you'll be supporting the launch and growth of Revolut's new mortgage product in Ireland. You will also be supporting the team on other credit products, as well as providing general support to the Senior Regulatory Counsel and the IE branch. This role is a remote-based position.

What you'll be doing

• Supporting the launch and growth of Revolut Mortgages in Ireland
• Supporting on credit products: credit cards, personal loans, Buy now pay later, business lending
• Providing general support to the Senior Regulatory Counsel and the IE branch
• Advising on financial regulation
• Helping with product structuring — credit and mortgages specifically
• Engaging with regulators (and other stakeholders re mortgages, e.g. Law Society of Ireland)
• Staying informed and advising on the new Consumer Protection Code

What you'll need

• 4-6+ years PQE in the Irish market
• Mortgage & Credit experience in the Irish market
• Local-specific Mortgage market knowledge is key for this position
• An innovative mindset and open to new approaches

Nice to have

• Specific in-house (bank) experience supporting mortgage business
• Conveyancing experience from private practise (law firm)
