About the role

The Legal team sits at the heart of Revolut and is a core part of the business. Members of the team provide front-line guidance and support to all areas of the company, contributing to decisions that impact Revolut’s growth every day.

We're looking for a Regulatory Legal Counsel to sit within our growing Legal team in Ireland. This is an exciting time to join as you'll be supporting the launch and growth of Revolut's new mortgage feature in Ireland. You'll also be collaborating with the team on other credit features, as well as providing general support to the Senior Regulatory Counsel and the IE branch.

What you'll be doing

• Supporting the launch and growth of Revolut's mortgages in Ireland
• Advising on credit products, such as credit cards, personal loans, buy now pay later, and business lending
• Providing general support to the Senior Regulatory Counsel and the IE branch
• Advising on financial regulation
• Helping with credit product structuring, specifically for mortgages
• Engaging with regulators and other stakeholders on mortgage-related matters, such as Law Society of Ireland
• Staying informed and advising on the new consumer protection code

What you'll need

• 4+ years PQE in the Irish market
• Mortgage and credit expertise in the Irish market
• An innovative mindset and to be open to new approaches

Nice to have

• Specific in-house/bank experience supporting mortgage business
• Conveyancing experience within a private practise/law firm
