About the role

The Legal team sits at the heart of Revolut as one of our most important areas of business. This focused bunch supports all other Revolut teams, helping us achieve our goals each and every day.

They're special, they're strong-willed, and they work across a myriad of different areas. We know this isn’t super common for an in-house role, but our team is just that good!

We’re looking for a Junior Corporate Governance Legal Counsel to join us in our growing Legal team at Revolut’s Lithuania office.

You'll ensure that the organisation complies with relevant legislation and regulation, and keeps board members informed of their legal responsibilities. They're the company's named representative on legal documents, and it's their responsibility to safeguard that the company and its directors operate within the law.

  • Consulting Company Secretaries on Lithuanian corporate laws and governance principles
  • Preparing documents for incorporation, liquidation, or deregistration of entities and branches
  • Arranging execution of corporate documents including board resolutions, KYC forms, and regulatory filings
  • Advising stakeholders on corporate governance matters and applicable Lithuanian regulations
  • Ensuring compliance of Revolut’s Lithuanian entities with governance legislation and regulations
  • Providing guidance on European corporate structure setup and changes
  • Overseeing the European corporate governance framework and related policies and procedures
  • Preparing documentation on corporate governance matters for regulatory submission
  • Supporting the delivery of initiatives and roadmaps aimed at improving the governance function
  • Representing Revolut’s Lithuanian entities before legal registers, notaries, and public institutions

What you'll need

  • Fluency in English and Lithuanian with effective verbal and written communication skills
  • A Master’s degree in Law
  • Relevant experience in a corporate governance or legal advisory role
  • A solid understanding of corporate governance, company law, and conflict of interest management
  • Effective collaboration skills and the ability to build relationships at senior level
  • A focus on delivering high-quality outcomes for internal stakeholders
  • The ability to prioritise and manage competing demands
  • The ability to communicate effectively and proactively with stakeholders, while providing clear and succinct governance advice

Nice to have

  • Experience in the financial services or technology sector

Compensation range

  • Lithuania: €4,600 - €5,100 gross monthly*
  • Other locations: Compensation will be discussed during the interview process

*Final compensation will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications, skills, and previous experience
