Our cutting-edge platform empowers the seamless discovery, purchase, and utilization of benefits products across the globe. Our benefits vertical comprises our Benefits Platform (featuring intelligent recommendations, streamlined payments, and a robust benefits eligibility engine), our rapidly expanding Benefits Marketplace with over 100 partners, and our innovative, in-house Rippling Benefits Products.

As a FullStack Engineer II (Frontend) on our Benefits team, you'll ensure that we understand and deliver on the products that customers want . You will directly impact customers, work closely with PMs, and own your work from start to finish. Ever since the inception of Benefits, we've been dedicated to delivering an exceptional product experience while reducing our operational overhead.

This role is best suited for an engineer who leans more towards the front-end but is still comfortable creating APIs and data models that will power the backend. What you will do:

• Take ownership of projects, guiding them from initial product requirements through to launch, benefiting all Benefits customers.
• Maintain a relentless commitment to elevating engineering standards within the team
• Develop extensible and scalable solutions that expands our product offerings
• Provide mentorship to junior engineers, nurturing their professional growth and success.
• Identify inefficiencies within the team and drive process and system enhancements.

What you will need:

• 3+ years of professional work experience using React and a backend system (i.e. Python/Django)
• Strong grasp of computer science fundamentals, providing you with a solid foundation to tackle complex technical problems and drive innovation.
• Proficiency in managing the complete project lifecycle, transforming intricate ideas into successful launches.
• Demonstrate a keen product sense that advocates for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
