About the role

We are looking for a sharp, highly-motivated, and innately curious Legal Operations Specialist to support our growing legal team. In this role, you will build efficient, scalable operations, with a strong focus on litigation support while also collaborating with our employment and commercial teams. You will be instrumental in managing and improving litigation workflows including issuing legal holds, managing data collection through e-discovery platforms, and tracking disputes and claims. You will also contribute to broader legal operations initiatives across the department. This role will report directly to the Manager of Legal Operations, but will work closely with other members of the legal and compliance team and cross-functional stakeholders.

The ideal candidate is extremely detail-oriented, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and can juggle competing priorities with ease. A resourceful and proactive problem-solver with strong judgment, exceptional organizational skills, and a collaborative mindset will excel in this role.

What you will do

  • Design, implement and support legal operations infrastructure, with a focus on litigation and investigation workflows
  • Coordinate internal litigation and discovery needs, including case management, legal hold issuance and tracking, data collection and processing, and document review and production
  • Serve as a liaison between internal stakeholders and outside counsel for active litigation matters
  • Create and drive processes around employment legal compliance, including auditing key training and employment document execution and partnering with the legal and recruiting team on processes for other employment document needs
  • Develop, implement, and continually improve legal operations policies, processes, and procedures
  • Monitor and report on key metrics related to legal operations effectiveness and litigation portfolio trends

What you will need

  • 3-5+ years experience in a legal operations, litigation support, legal assistant, or paralegal roles, preferably with a combination of in-house technology company and law firm experience (experience supporting litigation or investigations teams preferred)
  • We welcome candidates who are earlier in their in-house careers and are eager to grow their legal operations experience in a fast-paced tech environment
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex litigation processes, including familiarity with e-discovery tools and case tracking platforms
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Team player who takes initiative and demonstrates curiosity about how our company and business works
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, self-starting, and comfortable working in a highly dynamic environment
