About the role
We are seeking a Director of Product Cross-Sell to join our marketing team. In this position, you will be responsible for marketing Rippling’s suite of products to our existing customer base. This means developing a cross-sell engine across multiple channels (in-app, email, paid, direct mail) to drive pipeline growth for multiple product lines and customer segments. This includes awareness and top of funnel tactics, as well as more bottom of funnel conversion focused plays. You will manage a small team of marketers aligned to individual products within the Rippling suite. This role is highly cross-functional. You’ll partner closely with our Demand Gen, Sales, Marketing Operations and Product teams to achieve your goals.
What you will do
- Own cross-sell pipeline numbers for our full suite of products.
- Develop and implement strategy to drive cross-sell initiatives across Rippling's product suite, collaborating closely with Product, Sales, and Marketing teams.
- Build an engine that allows us to scale our cross-sell efforts through repeatable programs.
- Develop testing frameworks and measure the effectiveness of programmatic, triggered in-app and email messages.
- Build top of funnel programs to develop awareness of additional products and features for our existing customers, partnering closely with our Demand Generation team.
- Identify intent signals to drive bottom of funnel conversion for relevant customers.
- Analyze campaign performance and deeply understand how different programs impact funnel performance to accelerate growth. This includes shifting budgets to areas with higher returns and optimizing via testing and learning.
- Lead and manage a team of marketers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to promote professional growth and ensure the successful execution of cross-sell plans.
What you will need
- 8+ years of Marketing, Growth or Demand Generation experience and a proven track record of driving pipeline growth in a B2B/SaaS hyper-growth technology environment.
- Proven leadership experience, building and managing high-performing teams
- Deep marketing channel expertise spanning email, in-app, direct mail, etc, with a strong point of view of how to use these to drive pipeline.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills to test and measure the effectiveness of your programs throughout the funnel.
- Agility and speed. You’ll constantly try new ideas in this role. When things don’t work, you pivot; when they do, you move fast to scale them. You thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities and tight deadlines.
- Strategic ownership mentality—you proactively drive strategy, not just execution
- Experience partnering with Sales, Product and Marketing to align pipeline goals
- Bonus: Experience marketing to Finance, HR, or IT buyers; B2B SaaS
