About Rippling

Rippling gives businesses one place to run HR, IT, and Finance. It brings together all of the workforce systems that are normally scattered across a company, like payroll, expenses, benefits, and computers. For the first time ever, you can manage and automate every part of the employee lifecycle in a single system.

Take onboarding, for example. With Rippling, you can hire a new employee anywhere in the world and set up their payroll, corporate card, computer, benefits, and even third-party apps like Slack and Microsoft 365—all within 90 seconds.

Based in San Francisco, CA, Rippling has raised $1.4B+ from the world’s top investors—including Kleiner Perkins, Founders Fund, Sequoia, Greenoaks, and Bedrock—and was named one of America's best startup employers by Forbes.

We prioritize candidate safety. Please be aware that all official communication will only be sent from @Rippling.com addresses.

About the role

Rippling is building something the HR world hasn’t seen before — a practitioner-led community and content ecosystem that defines the future of People Ops. We’re hiring a credible HR Evangelist to be its face.

This is a hybrid role that blends thought leadership, community building, and storytelling.

You’ll bring a practitioner’s voice to everything Rippling publishes — leading events and roundtables, contributing to our newsletter, engaging in third-party HR communities, and elevating Rippling’s brand as the company that champions modern, strategic HR.

You’ll collaborate with the Community Manager, Content Marketing, and Field Marketing teams to create authentic, practitioner-first programs that deliver value long before a sales conversation begins.

Note: This role requires travel (50%+) to Rippling and industry events.

What you will do

  • Be the voice of Rippling’s HR community. Host dinners, roundtables, AMAs, and webinars that HR leaders actually want to attend.
  • Bring practitioner insights into Rippling’s content. Partner with the content and social teams to inject real-world HR expertise into our newsletter, thought leadership, and social storytelling. Develop and deliver thought leadership content at conferences and events.
  • Build credibility and reach. Participate actively and authentically in existing HR spaces (SHRM, HRCI, Bennie’s HR Advisory, Transform, Reddit etc.). Use these communities both to learn and to promote Rippling content and events.
  • Be a trusted voice on social. Build and grow your own LinkedIn presence to extend Rippling’s reach and credibility through personal storytelling and peer engagement.
  • Source and spotlight experts. Source and secure speakers for field events, roundtables, and AMAs. Help surface community members and customers whose stories deserve a spotlight. You’ll also develop and deliver thought leadership content at conferences and events.
  • Close the loop. Bring learnings from the field back into Rippling’s programs — shaping event topics, community discussions, and content themes based on what HR leaders actually care about.

What you will need

  • 8+ years in HR, People Ops, or Talent leadership with deep practitioner credibility.
  • Strong public speaking, writing, and social presence - ideally with an established personal brand or audience.
  • Genuine curiosity about the HR tech landscape and the evolving role of People Ops.
  • Comfort representing Rippling externally across events, panels, and online communities.
  • Exceptional communication and executive presence.
  • A builder’s mindset - you’ll help create a movement from the ground up.
  • Alignment with Rippling’s mission: freeing smart people to work on hard problems
