About the role

Rippling has a unique advantage with AI. Our system brings together data from across your business into a single graph, and exposes that data to agents through a common interface with consistent structure and permissions. While other companies drink their data through a straw, Rippling has already assembled everything it needs in order to automate business processes. Rather than marketing vaporware, Rippling is building genuinely useful AI software. We need a Director of Product to help us lead the effort across the company.

The successful candidate will lead a team of Product Managers to develop:

  • Our central AI agent experience, including the chat interface that orchestrates activities across all Rippling SKUs
  • Our underlying AI capabilities, including the SDKs used by Rippling’s own first-party application teams, as well as third party developers building on the platform
  • Infrastructure to support AI on the platform, including billing and margin management for the complete AI picture across all products

The role will have extensive exposure to Rippling’s executive team and external stakeholders.

What you will need

  • A track record of leading ambiguous projects, creating clarity, and delivering winning products; this is probably the headline requirement, as demonstrated through prior examples
  • Strong technical foundation from which to grow in the world of AI/ML; while we value prior experience in the domain, we recognize that it’s a new one, and many people are learning this stuff for the first time
  • The ability and desire to work on intense projects with tight timelines, ambitious goals, and close collaboration with executives
  • Strong alignment with Rippling's leadership principles
