About The Role

You’ll be part of the Travel integrations team, helping to define the future of corporate travel through the Rippling Platform’s integrated solutions. As part of Rippling’s Spend Suite—which also includes corporate cards, expense management, procurement, and bill pay—the Travel team is integral to our all-in-one solution for managing corporate spending.

Our customers value the seamless integration of corporate cards, expense management, and accounting automation, with travel management as the next frontier. Our mission is to build the best travel management platform for employees, finance teams, and travel managers alike.

You will:

  • Collaborate with Product Management and other stakeholders within Engineering (Frontend, UX, etc.) to maintain a high bar for quality in a fast-paced, iterative environment.
  • Wear a product manager hat when needed.
  • Build features that solve technical problems of high scope and complexity.
  • Participate in planning activities, perform code reviews, and contribute to a growing team.
  • Translate high-level business requirements into a software design; communicate the designs to the other developers in the team.
  • Provide mentorship for Junior and Intermediate Engineers on your team to help them grow in their technical responsibilities and remove blockers to their autonomy.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum 6+ years of programming experience
  • Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of the duties
  • Preferred experience in our technology stack- Go, Python, Django, MongoDB, AWS
  • Strong CS knowledge
  • Ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment by identifying areas of impact and independently pursuing them.
  • Experience in travel domain is + point.
