About the Role
Rippling’s mission is to simplify how businesses manage their operations. Our Accounting Integrations team plays a crucial role in delivering seamless connections between Rippling's platform and our customers’ financial systems, allowing for smooth data flow and reliable accounting outcomes.
As a Product Manager for Accounting Integrations, you will be responsible for enhancing and scaling this critical part of our ecosystem.
In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams and partner product areas such as Payroll and Spend to drive the product forward. You will play a pivotal role in defining the roadmap for existing and new integrations, ensuring they meet real-world accounting use cases and scale reliably.
What You Will Do
- Drive the product strategy and roadmap for accounting integrations, identifying and prioritizing key opportunities based on customer feedback, technical constraints, and business needs.
- Build a deep understanding of supported/unsupported accounting integrations, evaluate functional and non-functional gaps, and map them to supported and unsupported accounting use cases.
- Lead the development and launch of integrations with popular accounting platforms like QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage Intacct, and Xero.
- Ensure seamless, accurate, and scalable data flow between Rippling and customers’ accounting systems.
- Be deeply plugged into platform work from a product perspective, bridging the gap between technical implementation and product requirements to ensure all product use cases are supported.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, design, and other cross-functional partners to ship high-quality, reliable product features.
- Define key success metrics for integrations and track product performance post-launch.
- Stay up to date on industry trends, competitive offerings, and evolving accounting and financial software needs.
- Gather and incorporate feedback from customers, partners, and internal stakeholders to continuously improve the product.
What You Will Need
- 5+ years of product management experience or equivalent experience in B2B SaaS.
- Strong technical depth with the ability to have detailed conversations around platforms, integrations, APIs, and system design.
- A strong problem-solver who can translate complex customer and accounting needs into clear product requirements.
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders.
- A data-driven mindset with a focus on execution and outcomes.
- Experience working across both technical and user-facing aspects of product development.
- Experience in the Accounting or Finance domain, including building ledgers or accounting integrations, is a plus.
