The Opportunity

We’re seeking a Business Operations Lead to join our team and take ownership of pivotal processes in support of operational excellence and innovation. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape how we work with external vendors, manage key data programs, and track critical operational metrics, all while ensuring transparency, efficiency, and alignment across teams.

The ideal candidate is a meticulous and framework-oriented leader who thrives on solving complex problems and developing systems on that scale. They will be instrumental in designing and maintaining operational practices that promote clarity, collaboration, and excellence across our department.

Salary Range: $99,252 - $136,472 (Bonus and LTI Eligible)

How You Will Make an Impact

  • Define Procurement Standards: Develop and administer the department's procurement standard of practice, creating a contract with sourcing, legal, information security, and finance teams to promote transparency and efficiency.

  • Lead Vendor Outreach: Own and enhance our vendor outreach program in collaboration with marketing and procurement teams, establishing best-in-class tracking and communication standards.

  • Drive Third-Party Data Integration: Develop and implement a programmatic approach for third-party data explorations and integrations, ensuring alignment with QDST and operational leaders while coordinating commercial agreement milestones.

  • Establish Operational Excellence Metrics: Maintain and refine a framework to track operational excellence metrics, including identifying innovative ways to collect and analyze data continuously.

  • Oversee Experiment Tracking: Create a system to monitor the status and history of experiments across the organization, bringing clarity to hundreds of interventions annually.

  • Improve Expense Tracking: Develop frameworks to track actual expenses against budgets and layer in forecasts, enhancing financial hygiene and accountability.

What You Will Need to Succeed

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.

  • Proven ability to design and implement scalable operational frameworks that align with organizational goals.

  • Strong experience working across departments such as marketing, finance, legal, and procurement to align priorities and deliver results.

  • Self-starter and ability to work freely and effectively prioritize work.

  • Demonstrated ability to juggle multiple priorities

  • Ability to handle ambiguity and quickly adapt when changes occur.

  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills.

  • High sense of professionalism while remaining empathetic.

  • Great attention to detail.

  • Curious in nature.

  • Proficiency in building and analyzing data points utilizing spreadsheets, particularly Google Sheets

  • Experience handling vendor relations is preferred.

  • Basic knowledge and understanding of operational auditing principles is preferred.

  • Experience in designing and managing data integration and exploration initiatives is preferred.
