About the Role
The SAP Solution Architect, MRP/PP is responsible for overseeing the technical execution of one-to-many projects and tasks in varying IT areas such as application development, application support, systems administration, business intelligence, network administration and others. Familiarize themselves with the manufacturing processes and gain a strong understanding of components of SAP PP, including BOM (PP-BD-BOM), production version, work center, routings, production planning cycle, and the associated dataset (table structure).Key Responsibilities:
Provide excellent understanding of production planning, change master, and material master configuration paths within SAP.
Demonstrate proficiency in understanding data and the tables where the data resides, enabling effective data analysis and troubleshooting.
Apply knowledge of the basic functional process flow to execute MRP (Material Requirements Planning).
Identify limitations of SAP standard processing with common stock, project stock, and PMMO enablement, and propose innovative solutions to address them.
Utilize strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve complex production planning issues.
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment of objectives.
Configure and customize SAP PP modules to meet specific business requirements, ensuring seamless integration with other systems.
Provide documentation and knowledge transfer to internal teams, enabling them to maintain and support the implemented solutions.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in a related field with at least 14 or more years of relevant experience
Higher education may substitute for relevant experience
Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education
Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to analyze business systems and/or business processes to identify user needs, document requirements, and address process improvements
Scrum Master certification, or equivalent experience to obtain such certification
Strong knowledge of requirements documentation tools such as Visio, Word, Excel, Jira, and/or Azure DevOps
Experience with data mapping and documentation of system integration metadata and touchpoints necessary for implementation
Basic experience with writing SQL and understanding the basics of table querying for use in documenting data requirements
Strong knowledge of project planning and execution, using tools such as MS Project
Understanding of analysis and software development lifecycle methodologies
Strong presentation, facilitation, collaboration, negotiation and influencing skills

Estimated Starting Salary Range:
