Our Opportunity

The R&D Operations team is looking for an experienced program manager to join us in optimising the intersection of product, engineering, and GTM here at Snyk!

This role is a highly influential and visible role responsible for leading complex cross-functional initiatives, such as overseeing compliance programs, driving enterprise-wide critical transformation projects, or implementing and optimizing new systems and processes.

You’ll Spend Your Time:

  • Managing and tracking risks- escalating programme-level risks before they become issues, ensuring these risks are being addressed
  • Leading program delivery from scoping to completion, working closely with the Executive Leadership Team sponsors
  • Establishing program management governance that best delivers the agreed goals and objectives
  • Predicting resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner
  • Partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver program goals, identify and manage interface points
  • Bringing strategic business context to decisions made across functions throughout the program lifecycle
  • Leading collaboratively with the cross-functional project teams to deliver: “What by When”
  • Managing relationships with third-party vendors hired to support the program objectives
  • Preparing budgets based on scope of work and resource requirements and developing and managing a detailed project schedule and work plan
  • Maintaining visibility and facilitating timely discussions and decisions for project/interface risks & issues
  • Leading meetings between stakeholders, resources, and managers to ensure results are delivered

What You’ll Need:

  • Experience implementing a solution (design), operational plan, and roadmap to achieve goals
  • Executive presence: can represent a vision and build consensus across a variety of partners
  • The ability to estimate work effort and incubate skill sets to achieve team goals
  • Hands-on experience with data analytics and business intelligence dashboarding tools and with agile project management tools (e.g., Jira)
  • A detail-oriented mindset with the ability to understand the bigger picture by using your technical expertise and problem solving skills
  • A passion for solving complexity, streamlining processes, and overall program management
  • Strong written and verbal technical communication skills and are able to discuss issues at technical and business levels with audiences of various backgrounds
  • A solid track record of driving complex projects with many stakeholders
  • An ability to translate between technical needs and non-technical stakeholders; strong presentation + influencing abilities

We’d be Lucky if You:

  • Have experience in a high growth business environment
  • Are familiar with compliance audits/ assessments against industry standards, such as FedRamp, ISO, SOC, etc
  • Have advanced knowledge of common security and compliance requirements and can escort these issues through triage / risk treatment conversations
  • Have experience managing multiple complex compliance projects simultaneously with changing priorities
