Our Opportunity:

We’re looking for a Sales Incentive Analyst to join our Finance team to support the commission cycle process during this time of rapid growth. This individual will have a proven track record of working across functional teams in a fast-based environment and will foster a collaborative spirit. They will have great attention to detail and be a critical part of the monthly close process but will also be collaborating closely with stakeholders outside of the accounting team especially with the GTM and sales operations teams.

This person will be responsible for the timely and accurate processing of global field sales, AM, SDR, SE and channel commissions. This role is a critical part of various process improvement initiatives related to the sales incentives which help support our broader finance and corporate initiatives. As part of the Snyk team, you will also have the opportunity to demonstrate the core values of forward thinking, customer centricity, care deeply, and be one team while working with best-in-class development security intelligence.

You’ll spend your time:

  • Perform complex global sales commissions calculations related to our high growth SaaS model and related analysis and reporting
  • Maintain dashboards and reporting related to budget v actual, variable attainment, performance metrics and other ad-hoc requests related to sales incentives
  • Various calculations and reporting using Sales Incentive Management software (Xactly), Snowflake and data visualization tools (such as Looker)
  • Working on special projects such as process improvements, data analysis/compilation, presentations, and report building
  • Generate commissions exception reports and related workflows in line with the sales rules of engagement
  • Collaborate with the Finance, Sales Operations and People team on implementing controls and approval workflows related to commission draws, parental leave policies and related non-standard plan elements.
  • Ensuring the accurate and timely recording of sales commissions and deferred commissions under U.S. GAAP
  • Participate in scoping and implementing an automated quota management solution to streamline both standard and non-standard quota setting

You should apply if you:

  • Have excellent Excel and reporting skills.
  • Have 2+ years experience in supporting global sales commissions calculation cycle.
  • Posses a conceptual understanding of GAAP accounting rules.
  • Are incredibly easy to work and have the ability to build strong cross-team relationships even when divided interests exist
  • Have a bias for action, works iteratively towards bigger picture goal, and strives for continuous improvement especially related to sales compensation & incentives

  • Have sales compensation experience in a global hyper-growth SaaS model
  • Have experience working with Xactly, Salesforce & Netsuite
  • Have created dashboards, KPIs and other management tools related to sales compensation and performance
