  • Plan, prepare, issue, and control production schedules and material requirements to ensure a controlled flow of materials to meet production requirements.
  • Develop and maintain reports relating to product completion status and on-time performance. Advise management when on-time order delivery is in jeopardy.
  • Work daily with peers and superiors developing the maturity of the production planning systems in support of business goals and a continuous improvement initiative.
  • Correlate the planning and scheduling of orders with machine loading and labor availability to obtain optimum utilization of equipment, efficient allocation of labor, and on-time delivery of products.
  • Oversee the planning, releasing, monitoring, rescheduling, updating and closure of assigned work orders.
  • Attend/facilitate customer meetings to establish/evaluate priorities and risks to manifest schedule.
  • Provide mentoring, training and daily guidance to team including career development and performance management.
  • Participate in daily production standup meetings.
  • Facilitate weekly clear-to-build meetings to identify and evaluate schedule risks and mitigation strategies.
  • Support continuous improvement of Warp Drive data integrity/accuracy.
  • Coordinate with external suppliers and purchasing for outsourcing on open work orders, as-required.
  • Ensure proper material handling and packaging to reduce handling damage.


  • Bachelor's degree or 3+ years of experience in material planning, scheduling, reporting or analytics.
  • Experience with automated scheduling systems (MRP/ERP).
  • 1+ year of experience leading a team or project.


  • SQL/Excel knowledge.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, management information systems, computer science, engineering, economics, or other technical discipline.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to be flexible in a demanding and dynamic work environment.
  • Working knowledge of resource planning and materials management.
  • Attention to detail, highly organized, self-motivated, and ability to pivot quickly in an ever-changing production environment.
  • Demonstrated record of high-performance (rated 4/4 or above in previous review cycles).


  • Must be available for all shifts, extended hours, and weekends.
  • This is a 1st Shift position: M-F, 4:00AM-2:30PM.
  • Ability to lift 25 lbs unassisted.


Pay range:
Production Control Supervisor: $105,000.00 - $135,000.00/per year

Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.

Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at SpaceX.
