SR. CORPORATE INCOME TAX ANALYST
SpaceX seeks to add a Sr. Corporate Income Tax Analyst as it expands its domestic and international footprint. The Sr. Corporate Income Tax Analyst will work on the company’s federal, state and local, and international tax matters including coordination with various service providers.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Gather data and coordinate with service providers for preparation of federal, state and local, and international tax returns
- Ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns, including quarterly estimates and extensions
- Prepare and/or review book/tax differences for US and international tax purposes
- Assist with maintaining tax records and filing systems
- Complete research, analysis, and interpretation of existing and proposed legislation
- Assist with notices/audits received by various taxing authorities
- Provide support as needed on ad hoc projects
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, tax, business, finance, or a STEM discipline
- 4+ years of combined tax experience in public accounting or supporting a US based multinational
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Prior experience working for a Big 4 public accounting firm
- CPA license
- Exceptional Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience with general corporate tax compliance and consulting
- Experience working with large datasets and various data analysis tools such as Alteryx and SQL
- Detail oriented, organized, and efficient in work processes
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- This position is based in Hawthorne, CA and requires being onsite - remote work not considered
- Must be able to work extended hours and weekends as needed
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
Pay range:
Sr. Corporate Income Tax Analyst/Senior: $90,000.00 - $145,000.00/per year
Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.
Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at SpaceX. ITAR REQUIREMENTS:
- To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (aka green card holder), (iii) Refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157, or (iv) Asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
