SpaceX was founded under the belief that a future where humanity is out exploring the stars is fundamentally more exciting than one where we are not. Today SpaceX is actively developing the technologies to make this possible, with the ultimate goal of enabling human life on Mars.

At SpaceX we’re leveraging our experience building rockets and spacecraft to deploy Starlink, the world’s most advanced broadband internet system. Starlink is the world’s largest satellite constellation and provides fast, reliable internet to 2M+ users worldwide. We design, build, test, and operate all parts of the system – thousands of satellites, consumer receivers that allow users to connect within minutes of unboxing, and the software that brings it all together. We’ve only begun to scratch the surface of Starlink’s potential global impact and are looking for best-in-class engineers to help maximize Starlink’s utility for communities and businesses around the globe.

In this position, you will wear numerous hats and engage a broad set of technical fields to ensure the design and production of many Starlink products. You will work with the design, manufacturing, and reliability teams to design, build, and test new accessories for the product catalog. • Design and implement electro-mechanical assembly and test processes
  • Lead prototype builds ensuring incremental milestones for the production development are met
  • Lead facilities development, floor layout, headcount requirements, and material flow definition
  • Evaluate return on investment for potential automation opportunities

  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline or physics
  • 1+ years of experience leading engineering projects (internship and extracurricular experience is applicable)

  • 1+ years of experience managing product technical requirements

  • 1+ years of experience with project management (technical scope, schedule, cost)
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a highly cross-functional role
  • Outstanding project management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, autonomously driven, and demanding startup atmosphere.
