We are the Infrastructure Delivery team, and our purpose is to maintain a robust, secure, and high-performing cloud infrastructure that powers the products our customers love. We focus on making it easy for developers to build and deploy new applications to the cloud.

Our core responsibility is to develop our Internal Developer Platform built with Spotify’s Backstage framework (Node.js and React w/ Typescript) and to maintain and evolve SpotOn’s CI/CD pipelines to deploy containerized applications to Kubernetes (GitHub Actions and Argo CD).

The ideal candidate will be able to:

You can code: you’re a developer through and through and can work with a modern full-stack application. Even if you’re not a front-end expert, you’re not afraid to work with React and CSS when necessary.You’re interested in the cloud: even if you don’t have direct experience, you are excited to dive deep into the world of cloud technologies.You like variety: our team solves problems with whatever means necessary. One week you may be heads-down coding a new backend feature, and the next one, you’re in a CLI terminal debugging through deployment logs. You never say, “this is not my job.”

• You are not afraid to speak and write in English: we are an international team scattered across multiple timezones so Slack and Zoom meetings are places of our daily discussions. That’s a great opportunity to improve professional language proficiency while making impact into a product we’re working on together.

What skill are we searching for?

• Recent graduate with a degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
• Proficiency in a modern object-oriented language like Python, Go, Java, or C#. Bonus points if you’re already familiar with TypeScript
• Basic understanding of or interest in frontend development with React
• Experience or Interest in DevOps technologies and infrastructure tools like:
• Cloud infrastructure (AWS)
• Container orchestration (Kubernetes)
• Continuous delivery tools (Argo CD)
• CI/CD pipeline development (GitHub Actions)

Responsibilities:

• Develop SpotOn’s internal developer platform using the Backstage framework
• Support the platform engineering team in developing and maintaining infrastructure
• Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment processes
• Assist in implementing and improving CI/CD pipelines
• Learn and contribute to infrastructure-as-code initiatives
• Participate in code reviews and team knowledge sharing
• Help create and maintain documentation for infrastructure and deployment processes
