💼 About The Role

As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) for sunday app, your primary mission will be to initiate and qualify high-potential leads to build a robust sales pipeline. You will work closely with the Senior Business Development Managers (BDMs) to create a smooth handoff process, ensuring that each prospect is prepared and aligned for the sales team to convert them into clients. This role requires a proactive individual who thrives on prospecting, is tech-savvy with CRM tools, and can effectively identify and qualify leads through detailed research, strategic outreach, and nurturing engagement.

🔥 Key Responsibilities

  • 1-3 years of experience in a similar SDR, Sales, or Business Development role.
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding lead generation targets.
  • Strong understanding of the SaaS industry and/or experience in a B2B environment.

😊 About You

  • Experience in the hospitality, restaurant tech, or fintech industry is highly preferred.
  • Background in fast-paced SaaS environments, with a focus on building new markets or establishing early-stage market presence.
  • Experience with tools like HubSpot, Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Outreach.io or similar CRM and sales automation software.
  • Proven ability to handle a high volume of outbound prospecting and lead qualification.

Required Hard Skills

  • Lead Generation & Prospecting: Ability to identify potential prospects through research and outreach, specifically in the hospitality and restaurant tech sectors.
  • CRM & Sales Automation: Skilled in using HubSpot, Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Outreach.io, or similar tools to track and optimize the prospecting and pipeline-building process.
  • Outbound Sales Techniques: Proficiency in cold calling, emailing, and social selling to engage prospects effectively and drive early-stage sales engagement.
  • Market Research: Capable of identifying market trends and key decision-makers to create a detailed account and lead profiles.

Required Soft Skills

  • Communication & Persuasion: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to craft engaging and tailored outreach messages.
  • Resilience & Grit: Ability to handle rejection and maintain motivation in high-volume outreach roles.
  • Curiosity & Learning Mindset: Keen to understand the customer's needs and continuously learn about sunday app’s offerings to better position them during outreach.
  • Collaboration: Strong team player with a focus on supporting Senior Business Development Managers and collaborating with other sales team members to optimize the sales pipeline.

  • £30,000 - £40,000 base salary per annum plus performance-based commission and OTE, with potential to increase based on experience and performance.
