Swarm Aero is redefining air power, building the largest swarming UAV and most versatile swarming aircraft network in the world. The company is moving quickly to launch the first aircraft designed specifically for swarming as well as the Command & Control software to mobilize swarms of thousands of heterogeneous autonomous assets and empower human operators to achieve superhuman results.

The team has created and exited multiple startups, negotiated defense deals worth billions of dollars and designed and built 30+ novel aircraft, with aerospace experience from Scaled Composites, Airbus, Archer Aviation, Blue Origin, and Boom Supersonic.

As a Business Strategy Analyst, you will support pricing, market evaluation, and competitive analysis across the company. This person will work directly with founders and functional leaders to evaluate new verticals, analyze competitors, review government/industry white papers, and build business cases that shape our product and commercial strategy.

This role is ideal for someone coming from top-tier consulting, investment banking, or a strong MBA program who wants to own meaningful strategy work in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities:

  • Conduct analysis on customers, emerging technologies, and new verticals.
  • Build TAM / SAM / SOM analyses
  • Track market trends and competitive movements in autonomy, aerospace, and defense.
  • Support pricing strategy for our hardware and software products (value-based pricing, cost modeling, margin analysis).
  • Build business cases and ROI models to influence go/no-go decisions.
  • Review defense and industry white papers; extract key insights and map them to strategic opportunities.
  • Turn complex external information into concise executive-ready summaries and recommendations.

Basic Qualifications:

  • MBA (preferred), Masters degree in Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or relevant professional experience.
  • Experience in strategy consulting, investment banking, venture capital, corporate strategy, or strategic finance.
  • Proven ability to build pricing models and business cases (cost structure, unit economics, ROI modeling).
  • Experience conducting TAM analysis, competitor mapping, or market sizing
  • Strong research + synthesis skills — able to digest and learn complex new domains quickly
  • Excellent communication skills — can build crisp, concise recommendations

Preferred qualifications

  • Prior exposure to defense / aerospace / hardware technology markets
  • Experience with various pricing frameworks
