Tackle is looking to hire a summer IT Intern. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to build a career in IT or cyber security and wants to gain real-world experience by collaborating with others to develop and implement policies and procedures that meet regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
The primary responsibility for this internship will be around hardware and inventory management out of the Boise Office.

What You'll Do:

  • Receiving, shipping, and handling laptop inventory
  • Diagnosing and repairing computer hardware and software issues while also providing exceptional customer support to the end-users
  • Providing technical assistance and operational support
  • Maintaining timely and appropriate documentation of technical service provided to the end-user
  • Maintaining appropriate documentation of systems, applications, and hardware used by the Help Desk and IT
  • Monitoring the help desk queue and respond to help desk tickets in a professional and timely manner
  • Maintaining end-user confidence and protect operations by following the security and privacy policies and keeping information confidential
  • Implementing security policies and procedures, or working with various teams to identify and remediate security issues

What You Should Have:

  • Familiarity with operating a Mac OS and cloud technology
  • The ability to lift up to 30 pounds
  • A basic understanding of cyber security principles and practices•
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • A willingness to learn and take on new challenges
