About Lightfield

Lightfield is an AI-native CRM that assembles itself from your email, calendar, and meetings. It captures every interaction and turns it into organized context: accounts, tasks, follow-ups, and insights, so nothing slips through the cracks.

We’re rethinking CRM from first principles. Instead of forcing teams to maintain rigid systems, Lightfield learns from how companies actually work, adapting, automating, and surfacing the insight that drives growth. We’re building the CRM platform we always wished existed: fast, intelligent, and genuinely helpful.

We are backed by Greylock, Lightspeed, and Coatue, and our team previously built Tome, a generative AI presentation product used by over 25 million people. Before Tome, many of us worked on Llama, Instagram, Facebook Messenger, Pinterest, Google, and Salesforce.

About the role
We are building Lightfield to be the most helpful, valuable, and significant company in GTM tech. To do this, we're assembling an elite go-to-market team to establish category leadership in CRM, and are starting by partnering with the most innovative early-stage companies.
We’re hiring for a Content Marketing Manager to build the Lightfield content engine end-to-end — from founder LinkedIn posts to top 0.1% guides, product breakdowns, and customer stories. This person will report directly to our Head of GTM.

What you'll do

  • Build and lead the Lightfield content engine. Own our editorial calendar and narrative across channels and mediums.

  • Turn founder ideas into standout content. Ghostwrite and edit LinkedIn posts, X threads, and essays for the founding team. Sit close to the business, pull out real stories and opinions, and publish content that actually sounds like the founders — not generic “B2B voice.”

  • Develop authoritative guides for early-stage GTM. Research, interview, and write long-form guides and playbooks on topics like founder-led sales, early GTM design, and AI-native CRM. We’re prioritizing quality over quantity - these guides should have truly unique points-of-view, and be so good that we could charge for them if we wanted to.

  • Own SEO and AEO. Lead our search and AI-engine strategy: map high-intent topics, structure pages for humans and LLMs, and continuously refine how Lightfield shows up in Google and generative search platforms.

  • Bring our product and customer stories to life. Script product walkthroughs, how-to videos, and feature breakdowns. Turn customer wins into case studies, quotes, and clips that make the impact of Lightfield obvious.

Who you are

  • Track record of success at a fast-paced early-stage company. We have an incredibly ambitious vision, and work hard to achieve it. You’re comfortable with an intense pace, with high standards, and with wearing many hats.

  • AI-native content operator. You use tools like Claude, AirOps, and Descript as a core part of your workflow — for research, drafting, and repurposing — while keeping an insanely high quality bar on the final output.

  • Incredible taste. You notice the difference between “good enough” content and work that feels premium. You care about structure, pacing, and visual presentation, and you have examples of brands whose content bar you want to match or beat.

  • Sharp, versatile writer. You can move from long-form guides to punchy LinkedIn hooks to tight product copy without losing voice. Your writing is clear, direct, and grounded in real problems, not jargon.

  • Passionate about AI and modern GTM. You’re curious about how AI is changing GTM, and you want to be right in the middle of the teams figuring it out in real time.
