About Lightfield
Lightfield is an AI-native CRM that assembles itself from your email, calendar, and meetings. It captures every interaction and turns it into organized context: accounts, tasks, follow-ups, and insights, so nothing slips through the cracks.
We’re rethinking CRM from first principles. Instead of forcing teams to maintain rigid systems, Lightfield learns from how companies actually work, adapting, automating, and surfacing the insight that drives growth. We’re building the CRM platform we always wished existed: fast, intelligent, and genuinely helpful.
We are backed by Greylock, Lightspeed, and Coatue, and our team previously built Tome, a generative AI presentation product used by over 25 million people. Before Tome, many of us worked on Llama, Instagram, Facebook Messenger, Pinterest, Google, and Salesforce.
About the role
We are building Lightfield to be the most helpful, valuable, and significant company in GTM tech. To do this, we're assembling an elite go-to-market team to establish category leadership in CRM, and are starting by partnering with the most innovative early-stage companies.
We’re hiring for a GTM Engineer to design our go-to-market systems, processes, and tech stack from the ground up, with Lightfield at the core. This person will report directly to our Head of GTM.
This is a mission-critical role with broad scope to lay the foundation for our entire GTM engine. It’s also an opportunity to shape the direction of the Lightfield product, working directly in-office with our engineering and product teams to enhance how we serve go-to-market operators.
What you'll do
Build and evolve our GTM automation engine. Design scalable workflows that improve campaign performance, pipeline generation, trial conversion, and customer referrals.
Design and implement our GTM tech stack. Evaluate and configure new technology in service of our growth strategy.
Own Lightfield’s ‘warm outbound’ strategy. Design, implement, and iterate on signal-based campaigns to engage prospects, using platforms like Clay and Unify.
Manage our lead lifecycle. Architect and implement personalized customer journeys, ensuring each person receives the right communication at the right time from our team - whether it be an invite to an event, an offer for a demo, an onboarding call, or a request for a referral.
Build and own growth instrumentation. Design and implement systems to track the performance of our GTM efforts.
Improve team productivity. Identify and design automated workflows to support our team’s internal operations (e.g. custom GPTs, social listening agents, alerting).
Dogfood and shape our product. Use Lightfield as your primary GTM system. Turn your own needs into product requirements and work directly with engineering and product to shape them.
Who you are
Track record of success at a fast-paced early-stage company. We have an incredibly ambitious vision, and work hard to achieve it. You’re comfortable with an intense pace, with high standards, and with wearing many hats.
Passion for AI and GTM tech. You are an early adopter, a tinkerer, a hacker at heart. You’re always on the look-out for better ways to solve GTM challenges.
Exceptional cross-functional collaboration. You deeply understand the needs of your peers, which helps you turn messy problems into clean system design.
Technical proficiency. You’re comfortable wiring systems together with APIs and webhooks, building automations in tools like Zapier or n8n, and working directly with data (SQL, events, tracking). Experience with Clay is a strong plus.
