Lighthouse Software Group is hiring a General Manager for our portfolio to join our growing team in the UK!

We are seeking a seasoned and operationally driven General Manager to lead a UK-based technology company specializing in integrated hardware and software solutions for safety, monitoring, and compliance across the food and healthcare industries.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with deep experience in scaling B2B technology operations, balancing strategic execution with day-to-day excellence. This role will oversee all business functions, to ensure efficiency, quality, and profitability while driving continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the company’s operations, production, and service delivery, ensuring consistent performance, scalability, and profitability.

• Translate strategic objectives into operational execution, partnering with senior leadership to deliver on growth and efficiency goals.

• Drive continuous improvement by optimizing processes, strengthening KPIs, and promoting collaboration across teams in the UK and abroad.

• Ensure regulatory and quality compliance across all operational areas, maintaining the company’s reputation for reliability and safety.

• Serve as a bridge between product, technology, and customer success, ensuring seamless delivery of end-to-end solutions.

• Build and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and operational excellence.

About You

• 10+ years of leadership experience in operations, manufacturing, or service delivery within a technology or industrial business.

• Proven expertise in P&L management, process optimization, and cross-functional leadership.

• Experience in compliance, monitoring, or temperature-management workflows- ideally within healthcare, food service, or grocery retail sectors.

• Strong commercial acumen and experience driving sales or go-to-market strategies in a B2B technology environment.

• Hands-on, pragmatic, and collaborative problem solver who thrives in fast-paced, entrepreneurial settings.
