Vay are now operating a safe, affordable, and sustainable door-to-door mobility service in the Las Vegas, US and will soon begin scaling to other locations in the USA, Europe & beyond. Our Vay Drive service is a driverless delivered, by the minute car rental service, creating an exciting, safe & affordable experience for all.

As a Product Manager based in Las Vegas—our only operational market at the moment—you will play a vital role in addressing local needs and driving product improvements. Positioned close to both our operations team and customer base, you will gather real-time insights, quickly address issues, and ensure that product decisions resonate with local demands and customer pain points. You will drive customer-focused improvements, coordinate on-ground product experiments, and support app releases to deliver exceptional user experiences tailored to our key market. You will also act as a primary bridge between our customer service in Las Vegas and our product development teams in Berlin.
Responsibilities
Customer Insight & Feedback Integration:
Act as the primary connection between Las Vegas operations and Berlin product teams, integrating insights from customer support and direct user interactions.
Gather and categorize feedback to prioritize customer issues, ensuring that solutions are aligned with real-world needs and quickly address pain points.
Product Discovery & Validation:
Lead user research and market analysis to identify opportunities for improvement and new features.
Conduct focus groups, user interviews, and on-ground testing to validate product concepts and inform feature prioritization based on local demand.
Feature Development & Quality Assurance:
Manage user acceptance testing (UAT) for new releases, coordinating with engineering and design to address issues.
Ensure high-quality, customer-focused feature rollouts that meet product standards and user needs.
Operational Alignment & Cross-Team Collaboration:
Work closely with the Las Vegas operations team to ensure product updates align with real-time service needs and operational insights.
Act as the on-site bridge to Berlin teams, aligning on issues, updates, and priorities.
Roadmap & Strategic Adaptation:
Support in continuously adapting the product roadmap based on evolving customer needs and market demands.
Support long-term product strategy and growth in the Las Vegas market, making data-driven adjustments to maintain competitive relevance.
The Profile
For this role, we are looking for a candidate with the following profile:
Required/minimum qualifications: Bachelor's Degree AND 3-5 years experience in a product manager role OR equivalent experience.
Preferred/additional qualifications: Hands on product experience in building mobile apps, preferably in the automotive or transportation industries.
Customer-Centric Mindset: Deep commitment to understanding and improving the user experience, with a strong focus on gathering and applying customer insights.
Analytical & Data-Driven: Skilled in analyzing user data, customer feedback, and market trends to inform product decisions and prioritize feature development.
Hands-On Problem Solver: Proactive and quick to address on-site issues, with the ability to work cross-functionally to find efficient, user-focused solutions.
Strong Communication & Collaboration Skills: Able to effectively bridge teams in Las Vegas and Berlin, ensuring alignment and transparent communication.
Product Experimentation & Testing Experience: Comfortable leading on-ground product tests, user acceptance testing (UAT), and other experiments to validate product assumptions.
Operational Insight: Familiar with operational workflows, able to work closely with the operations team to ensure that product updates meet on-the-ground needs.
Adaptability in a Fast-Paced Environment: Able to respond quickly to evolving challenges and market needs, prioritizing tasks that drive meaningful product improvements.
